EJERCICIO:
En inglés muchas palabras para hacer preguntas, inician por "wh". Use los siguientes formatos, para preguntar.
What. Si no escucha cuando alguien le hable, puede preguntar:
-What? Qué?
-What did you say? Que dijo usted?
Para preguntar por asuntos específicos utilice What is:
-What is your name?
-What is the capital of Colombia?
Who. Se utiliza para preguntar por una persona desconocida, pero específica:
-Who is the woman in blue?
-Who is your friend?
-Who called?
Where. Se utiliza para averiguar por sitios:
-Where is the park (the bank, the football stadium).
-Where is the bat? (the ball, the computer)
-Where is your mom?
Which. Se utiliza para seleccionar o elegir entre pocas opciones.
-Which pie do you prefer orange or banana?
-Which dress are you going to buy the blue or the black one?
-Which book is yours?
RESUMIENDO
Para buscar información, se hacen preguntas que inician con "wh":
Ejemplo 1. -Where is the park...
-The park is...
Para responder se cambia el orden de las palabras, observe el ejemplo anterior, "is" va después de park.
Ejemplo 2
-Good morning, could yo tell me where the park is?
The park is...
Note que en el ejemplo 2, la palabra "is" va al final de la frase. Si se saluda, o dice algo antes de hacer la pregunta, "is", debe ir al final.
